E-Cargo Bike Tour Overview

Roberto met me near the Lucerne train station. He was easy to communicate with and prompt in responding to any questions. I rented a car for this trip and he provided me with information on parking; there’s a parking lot right underneath the train station.

The Experience: E-Cargo Bike Tour

From the moment the tour started, Roberto was engaging, animated, and incredibly informative about Lucerne and Switzerland. He has such an incredibly warm personality and even though I was the only person on the tour, he went above and beyond to make it welcoming and special.The tour began in the city center and we made our way to a bike path that took us through adorable neighborhoods. At one point we stopped for a quiz on Swiss history. Somehow Roberto finds a way to make every part of this tour fun and interesting. Plus, having Mt. Pilatus in the background provides a lovely backdrop.

The tour continued to the lakeside where we again stopped, but this time for some hot ricola tea and a snack. This was a great addition to the tour because it allowed me some time to learn more about Roberto. One of my favorite things about booking experiences when I travel is getting to know the people I encounter. Roberto was wonderful to talk to and I loved hearing about his goals for his business.

The remainder of the tour was along the lakeside and was so peaceful. We saw beautiful homes, crystal blue water, locals walking, and so much more. It was a side of the city that I hadn’t expected to see, and I was so pleasantly surprised by all that we covered in such a short amount of time.
