Why do I care so much about getting miles? In 2021 and 2022 I was able to book 3 international round trip flights on Delta with miles (in addition to a few domestic flights). I enjoyed a month in Italy in both September 2021 and 2022 with miles along with a trip to France in 2022. I was able to spend my money on accommodations and experiences instead.
