The Experience: The Art of Pasta

The experience began with wine and introductions as our chef, Michele, prepared ingredients to begin some of the sauces in the kitchen area. We then headed to the large table where we each had our own station to begin making dough for the pasta.

Michele is an absolute professional with tons of experience, and he did a wonderful job showing us all how to make so many types of pasta. He broke every shape down into simple steps and we all enjoyed our triumphs and failures as we created tortelli, tagliatelle, tortelloni, and more.

Once we used all of our pasta dough, we headed back to the kitchen area where Michele showed us how to create 4 different types of authentic sauces: butter and sage, a creamy gorgonzola sauce with hot honey, a ragu, and one more that is escaping my memory.

The entire evening was fun, energetic, and educational. Michele was a fantastic host and I left feeling like I learned so much more about the art of pasta making.
