I’m a solo travel creator and former teacher who traded the classroom for airports and never looked back. I build itineraries, test accommodations, explore experiences, and bring back everything you need to plan a trip of your own.

how it all started.
In 2011, I was single and teaching and wanted to see the world. I realized that I should probably make it happen right away before I settled down with a family and probably wouldn’t do it later. I couldn’t find anyone to go with me at the time, so I went on my very first solo trip. I went to Italy for three weeks and spent two of those taking Italian classes in Rome.

I realized that I didn’t need to wait for anybody to go with me to go see all of the destinations that ended up on a never ending bucket list. I could go alone. So I did, and 15 years later, I’m still obsessed with traveling solo, even though I now have a partner to bring with me sometimes. I’m discovering the best places and sharing them with the world so I can show women where they can go and what they can do. Because if I can do it, you can, too.

A Little More About Me
Before I was a travel creator, I spent 13 years as an elementary school teacher, and that instinct to educate has never left me. I approach trip planning the same way I used to approach lesson planning: cover everything, anticipate the questions, and make sure nobody leaves confused.
The trips I take aren’t polished or perfect and the content isn’t always aesthetic. They’re real, sometimes chaotic, and always more meaningful than I expected. That’s what I try to bring back to this page and my social media platforms. I’m not trying to give you FOMO with my content. My goal is to show you the real, doable version that reminds you this is something you can do, whether it’s your first solo trip or your twentieth.
When I’m not traveling, you can usually find me in Atlanta, planning the next one, or flying back to the UK to spend time with my British Man (and partner), Steve.
